Their job involves:
- Determine electrical wiring load requirements in buildings and premises by analyzing blueprints, wiring diagrams, codes, and specifications to establish sequences and methods of operation.
- Measure and mark installation reference points.
- Select, cut, connect, and install wire and cable to terminals and connectors.
- Utilize electrical and electronic test instruments to identify and troubleshoot faults.
- Repair and replace faulty wiring and defective parts.
- Position and install single and three-phase electrical switchboards.
- Connect electrical systems to power supply.
- Test circuit continuity.
