Skill Requirement

The majority of occupations in this unit group have a skill level commensurate with a bachelor’s degree or higher. At least five years of relevant experience and/or vendor certification may be substituted for a formal qualification and/or a formal qualification and vendor certification. In some cases, relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification (ANZSCO Skill Level 1).

What does ICT Business Analyst do?

The ICT business analyst collaborates with the client to create system specifications, develop system proposals and documents, analyze and evaluate existing systems, and construct and update systems as required to meet the client’s business needs.

Task

  1. Working with clients to establish and understand business requirements
  1. Identify, investigate, and monitor business requirements and workflow processes.
  1. Recognizing and evaluating inefficiencies and recommending optimal management strategies, system performance, and behavior
  1. Using project management methodologies, concepts, and strategies to develop project plans and budget, capital, and project management
  1. Accepting Responsibility for the Implementation of Functional Solutions, Including the Development, Adoption, and Execution of System Test Plans, to Ensure the System’s Consistency and Credibility
  1. Developing user and training documentation and coordinating formal training classes
  1. creating functional specifications for system developers
  1. utilizing data and process simulation techniques to develop consistent system requirements for the design and development of system software
  1. Serve as a key guide and source of knowledge, providing feedback and assistance in the project framework decision-making process

English Requirement

  1. IELTS score of minimum 6  (L, R, W), 7 in speaking and 7 overall;
  2. OET score with a minimum grade B in all sections;
  3. TOEFL iBT with a minimum score (L:12, R:13, W:21, S:23 and overall L93);
  4. PTE Academic with a minimum score of 50 (L, R, W), 65 in speaking and 65 overall.

  •  In some states and territories, there are exceptions for Australian graduates.
  • In certain states/territories, Priority Skilled Lists may apply a particular requirement.
  • The United Kingdom, Canada, New Zealand, the United States, and Ireland shall be excluded from submitting IELTS or OET scores.
